Troop 3 is the oldest troop in San Francisco having been founded in 1914. The mission of Scouting is to teach our youth how to make ethical choices throughout their lifetime. For over 100 years, Troop 3 has been teaching young men in the North Beach and Chinatown communities not only to do things right, i.e. through skills based training, but more importantly, how to do the right thing.
